Description: A svelte, figure skimming & classically styled navy blue wool gab skirt suit hailing from the 1950s era. This one is labeled Briarbrook and also with the department store label, Steigers. The jacket is lined in matching blue crepe with a peplum style nipped waist, hidden button placate and fringed bow at the top closure on the bodice. The kimono style sleeves are tapered and ¾ in length. The slim, straight skirt closes with a metal side zipper & button, has a back vent and is lined in rayon acetate through the derriere portion. In remarkable condition shown with a modern leather belt, included with the suit.
