Description: A wonderful black & white tweed wool or wool blend skirt suit, most likely 60s vintage with a 1950s flair! This 2 piece skirt suit consists of a swing style, trapeze cut jacket and slim hip hugging skirt. The jacket has 17 decorative same fabric lonzenge shaped buttons down the front (actual closures are large snaps at the neck & midsection) raglan style 3/4 length sleeves and is nicely lined in contrasting mustard colored textured acetate. The skirt is unlined and opens on the side with a nylon zipper. There is a finished backing to the fabric allowing for a nice soft feel. Labeled Frankels, Springfield MA and also tagged a size 7.
