Description: At quick first glance you might write this 2 piece 60s ensemble off as a "special occasion" or worse yet an outfit possibly worn by the mother of the bride. But on second pass the striking citrine yellow color and the slight sharkskin sheen of the silk give it a contemporary feel. Add just the right amount of beading on the simple sheath style dress at the neckline and a novel collar design and beaded aurora borealis rhinestone diamond patterned closure on the over jacket and it actually presents a modern look. Both pieces are fully lined in matching rayon and the fabric has a rich, smooth liquid feel. Only tagged with an ILGWU tag on the dress. In lovely cleaned condition with a few miniscule very pale pin dot spots on the dress - at the skirt side hem and on the bodice. These are VERY light and inconspicious. The coat is in near perfect condiiton with a pale spot on the interior front hem which didn't clean out.
