Description: A 30s to 40s era goddess style nightgown in the sheerest featherweight cream silk crepe fabric. This gown also has a bit of hand embroidery on the bodice & lots of elasticized waffle weave ruching at the shoulders, center bodice & waist forming an inverted V. All edges & hem are finished in a scalloped design and there is no labeling. Though gently laundered it does retain a very pale tea colored spot at the hem in the front, barely noticeable. A really lovely, super feminine, delicate & ethereal vintage gown.
