Description: A really handsome 40s vintage deep blue rayon ladies gabardine jacket in the periods fitted, almost military look style with structured padded shoulders and clean smooth form fitting lines. Silver & brass filgree buttons down the front add more detail and there are hip level pockets. Lined in matching blue rayon crepe. No labeling. In extremely nice, freshly cleaned condition with a barely a wrinkle to the wonderful textile. There are a few extremely minor picks in the fabric on one shoulder as well as a seam mend on the interior lining and a minute mend on the very edge of one sleeve.
