Description: A dainty & exquisite example of a 1920s era purse, manufactured by Whiting & Davis & marked as such on the purse frame. This is made of micro mesh with a texture as smooth & soft as fabric and is decorated with a brightly polychromed floral design. The gold tone frame has an intricate stamped design as does the chain handle and the purse closes with a simple click, locking clasp. The interior is lined in cream silk with 1 inner side pocket. The original round vanity mirror is present. In terrific shape with mild discoloration to the lining and a bit of separation from the frame in 1 corner. It measures 5 inches by 6 inches (including the clasp & not including the handle).
