Description: A 1940s vintage sculpted black wool felt beret style hat accented dramatically to one side with a brilliantly colored plumed bird. Also across the top is a strip of braided trim and the interior has a built in head band for holding securing upon the head. Labeled a New York Creation, size 22½. In lovely original condition with just a bit of ruffling to the plumes and a bit of feather loss near the "beak" of the bird.
