The leather is strong & supple with no evidence of scuffing, cracking or dryness. The measurement of the length of the sole toe to heel (measured from the exterior) is 10 inches, across the ball of the foot measured at the sole is 3¼ inches and the heel height is 1¼ inches. The height of the boot measured from the side up is 12 inches with the top calf opening 4½ inches across.
